The Coaching Experience
What is it?
Coaching is a collaborative process where you and I work together to help you understand yourself and build the kind of life you want to live. We’ll meet for 50 minute sessions each week for 16 weeks at a minimum, with the option to continue if you’d like. During coaching, we’ll be looking at change through two lenses:
Internal and external.
We’ll usually start with the internal side, figuring out your values (what truly matters to you), understanding your identity and developing your emotional awareness. With that in progress, the external side will begin to emerge naturally, as your real world actions start aligning more with your values and goals. We’ll also discuss plans and strategies for implementing new behaviours as we go, and I’ll help to make sure you are…
Getting stuff done.
Throughout the coaching relationship, we’ll be setting weekly tasks to focus on, to ensure you are making progress in the direction you want to be. I’ll guide you with these, but ultimately rely on your sense of what feels right. I’ll also be holding you accountable for completing them by checking in each week and discussing how they went.
Why 16 weeks?
Commitment to change
Each package includes 16 weekly coaching sessions because real change takes commitment. Showing up to a few sessions here and there only when you feel like it is unlikely to bring you the results that you want.
All it takes is one third of a year.
If you started coaching today, within four months you would:
Have a much clearer sense of what truly matters to you
Understand yourself and your emotions more deeply
Be well on your way to acting like the person you want to be
You’ll be more grounded, more intentional, and more in control of your life than you were just a few months ago. And while the 16 weeks is a commitment..
There’s actually no risk.
With my first month policy, if you don’t feel like you’ve been supported, you can cancel and request a refund of your initial payment.
FAQs

Both are good options and many clients do them concurrently. Coaching tends to be more of a balance between exploration and taking concrete actions, whereas therapy is usually more focused on deep exploration and healing of a particular wound. Your experience will vary between different coaches and therapists though so find what works for you.

Sessions happen on the same day at the same time each week. However, if you are wanting to have them at a different cadence, please send me an email at lifecollabcoaching@gmail.com and we’ll see if we can work something out.

If you’ve decided you’re finished with coaching but still have some sessions left, those will be refunded to you so you’re not charged for something you haven’t used.
-
Once you’ve booked in, you don’t need to do anything. You’ll receive an email that confirms your purchase and the first session date and time.
-
If you don’t show up or give less than 24 hours notice that you can’t make it, you’ll still be charged for the session. Similarly, if you’re more than 15 minutes late for a session it will be cancelled and you’ll still be charged.
